Rush
Rush is set to become Europe’s most comprehensive dedicated skatepark and the UK’s first purpose-built indoor facility. The first incarnation opened in 2013 but, despite much public protest, it was forced to close following a land dispute. In 2022, local supporters established a charity with the goal of creating a larger, improved version of Rush to serve the local youth community. Nous was commissioned to bring this vision to life and demonstrate how the project could generate new, innovative revenue streams, enabling it to progress through planning and secure the significant funding required. We developed a scalable and flexible brand identity designed to engage riders, attract investment, and support national expansion.

We developed a bold, modular identity system that balances structure with freedom — much like the parks themselves. Rounded typography and vibrant colours reflect the dynamic, high-energy spirit of the sport, while the flexible design language is striking across merchandise, signage and digital channels.

The result is a confident, future-facing identity that captures the creativity and momentum behind Rush and resonates equally with local communities and commercial partners. With a clear strategic foundation and assets built for growth, the brand now has the tools to scale.
