We designed and built a bespoke CRM system from the ground up using Laravel, tailored specifically to VDC’s sales and account management workflows. The system integrates directly with Sage via secure cloud-based APIs, ensuring order data, stock levels, and customer histories are always up to date. We also implemented integrations with Microsoft Teams and 3CX, enabling users to call, message, and schedule meetings directly from within the CRM interface, with no need to switch tools. The build included custom dashboards for each user type, dynamic reporting of sales targets and customer performance, and a task scheduling module to help teams manage follow-ups and appointments. The entire infrastructure was deployed on AWS using Laravel Forge, ensuring enterprise-grade reliability, scalability, and security. Close collaboration with VDC’s internal team was key, from mapping legacy workflows to defining sync intervals and security protocols.
The new CRM has transformed how VDC’s sales and account managers work, creating a seamless bridge between their operational systems and customer-facing teams. All essential data, from live sales and order information to individual targets and stock updates, is now available in a single, intuitive dashboard. By eliminating manual reporting and providing real-time insight, the CRM has improved sales visibility, reduced administrative workload, and empowered staff to focus on customer relationships. Integration with Teams and 3CX has streamlined communication and improved responsiveness. Today, the VDC CRM is a business-critical system, connecting finance, sales, and customer operations through one platform — delivering better data, faster decisions, and a stronger customer experience.
